Forty Fourth Friday Flash: The Puddle

Hi all,

A little change from normal this week. Haunted Waters Press accepted my piece The Puddle for their Spring issue. So please click through the link and have a read. Please comment on the story here. Comments on the magazine itself seem to be disabled. Feel free to read the other stories in the issue too.

Also have a special Friday flash next week with an original art piece.

  1. Congratulations on the pub, Craig, The layout over there looks very neat. Unfortunately I can't get their comments to work at all. 'COMMENTS' is greyed out and doesn't respond to clicking. Does one have to sign up for an account?

  2. Congratulations on the publication. I too couldn't leave a comment there, but I thought it a good story, very entertaining. We could all do with a puddle like that one! ^_^

  3. Congratulations Craig.

I wonder where on earth that pink elephant got to? I mean, it's not like losing a set of door keys, is it? :)

  5. Congratulations on the publication! The puddle is such a fresh idea and I like how he uses it with a childish delight. Too bad about the drunken neighbors.

  6. Congrats and nicely done!

I could use one of those puddles. Turn me into someone without a gut or gout. :-D

  7. A simple idea beautifully executed - it's usually the simple ideas that make the best stories. Congratulations on being published in such a well presented online magazine
